Dear Bruner, In the last page proof I made the hyphens uniform, dropping all in such expressions as “grayish white” where grayish is an adverb limiting white, and keeping them in such as “blue-back” where the whole forms a compound adjective. “Mueller” and “Canyon” and “Pinion” suit me all right, as you suggest.
