Several years ago you were kind enough to send me a sample copy of Apgar’s Birds of Eastern U. S. which has been very useful to us here in Nebraska and I think without doubt has enables me to secure sales of at least two hundred copies. The copy which you send me has been carried about in camp, at Farmer’s institutes, and Teachers Associations until it looks so rough that I hate to exhibit it as an example of a good book for the purpose of bird study. Could you kindly send me another copy. I use it as a text-book in my work here at the University of Nebraska.
Yours very truly,
