My Dear Sir:-
I have your communication of Dec. 26th relative to the securing of several prairie chickens for breeding purposes. If I can find someone who is located in the right place to trip such birds I will do what I can toward securing them for you. Just at present however I cannot call to mind anyone whom I could trust to do the work and who at the same time is in such a position as to carry out the undertaking. Nevertheless I will take up the matter with the parties who come to the Annual State meetings of Agriculture and Horticulture Societies. These convene in about two weeks.
Yours very truly,
